What is FIT & NU?

FIT & NU™ is a membership-based small group training and wellness coaching health club, offering functional fitness and nutrition services, primarily for busy women of color looking to create healthy habits.

Our focus is to help busy women improve their health, ease their minds and influence their communities and families to LIVE WELL through small group training, personal training, nutrition coaching and wellness tools and curriculum.

How much does it cost to be a Member?

The cost of services at FIT & NU is comparable to the rates of local and nationally known small group training facilities. However, your membership with FIT & NU includes so much more!

It’s important to note that every member is assigned a FIT Coach and a NU(trition) Coach to support them throughout their journey; which means whether you’re a TRACK STAR member paying $50/month or a Small Group Training member paying between $129 – $249 a month, you will receive FITness and NUtrition programming and support.

Where is FIT & NU Located?

We are located in Aurora Marketplace business park, conveniently located 3 blocks west of Nine Mile Station on Parker Road & Dartmouth.

What are the hours of operation?

FIT & NU’s FIT Training Hours are:

  • Monday: 6:30am – 7:30am & 5:20pm – 7:20pm
  • Tuesday: 6:30am – 7:30am & 6:20pm – 7:20pm
  • Wednesday: 5:30am – 7:30am & 5:20pm – 7:20pm
  • Thursday: 6:30am – 7:30am & 4pm – 7:20pm
  • Friday: 5:30am – 7:30am and by appointment only
  • Saturday: 7:30am – 10am and by appointment only

Office/Coaching Hours:

  • Monday thru Thursday: 9am – 4pm
  • Friday: 9am -4pm
  • Saturday: 9am – 4pm

Building Hours:

  • Monday thru Friday: 6:30am – 6:30pm
  • Saturday & Sunday: 8am – 2pm

Please note: If you are arriving for a class/session before or after the building hours, park in the back of the building (Tower 1) and notify your Coach when you’ve arrived to be let in.

How far in advance do I need to book for FIT Trainings & NU Check-Ins?

It is recommended that 1-on-1 coaching sessions be booked at least 24 hours in advance. Members can enroll for training sessions and group exercise classes up until an hour before the training begins.

What is a Discovery Session?

Every prospective client receives a FREE 60 minute consultation to give our Coaches the opportunity to discover your past habits, health history and current wellness challenges & goals. Plus, you (the client) gets the chance to discover how our coaches can support you.

Included with a Discovery Session is a Body Composition Analysis – an accurate report of your body fat mass, muscle mass, and water levels.

What is a Body Composition Analysis and how does the machine work?

The InBody 570 body composition analyzer goes beyond traditional body composition analysis, measuring fat, muscle, and total body water. Total body water data can be divided into intracellular water and extracellular water, values important for understanding a user’s fluid distribution in medical, wellness and fitness contexts.

“Proper preparation prevents poor performance,“ which is why we want to equip you with a few things to better prepare you for your next visit.


This can be done via our booking & client portal, Vagaro at You can opt to receive email and/or text booking confirmations.


A good rule of thumb is to eat protein (main source) and a healthy fat (optional) prior to exercise. If you eat fat with your pre-workout meal, then it should be consumed at least 1-2 hours before your workout. Try to avoid grains, starchy carbs and fruit. But if you can’t remember that, just remember to eat SOMETHING that’s easily digestible to sustain you for your workout.


Check your account to make sure there are no pending waivers that need to be signed. Also, that there are no incomplete forms requested by your Coaches. This will help to eliminate wasting valuable time with your coaches so you can get to the good stuff.
