FIT Over 30 is a 12-month body and behavior change, disease prevention program for women of color between the ages 30 and 65 years old.
The vast majority of women within this age range are experiencing some kind of physical change (whether it be motherhood, weight gain, or hormonal shifts). Research suggests that women typically gain about 7 pounds between ages 29 and 39 which increases their risk of heart disease and diabetes, if not properly managed.
